Congratulations to Club Captain Dane Bird-Smith who has had his selection in the Australian team to contest the IAAF World Championships in Moscow in August confirmed by Athletics Australia. Dane will compete in the 20km alongside training partner Rhydian Cowley

Racewalking Queensland (incorporated as Queensland Racewalking Club) was established in 1955 as a means of providing regular road walking competition for race walkers and to build interest in the sport and has had member athletes compete with distinction at State, National and International level. The Club is proud to be one of only a few athletic clubs that run its own full season of competition and has for many years run State Championships on behalf of Queensland Athletics.
